Why Antibes

Port Vauban is home to some of the largest yachts in the Mediterranean, with Cannes, Golfe-Juan, Nice, Monaco and Saint-Tropez less than two hours away. From spring preparation to the end of the season, captains keep looking for crew, often for the following week.

How it works

  1. Upload your CV: your profile fills itself in. Check it and add your certificates.
  2. Set your availability: port, start date, kinds of job and minimum rate. Pause any time.
  3. Get the jobs that fit you, with rate, length and accommodation, and answer in one tap.
  4. The captain chooses among the crew who said yes, and you get their contact and the joining details.

What you need

Our team checks the photo of each certificate, then deletes it 72 h after the decision. Captains only see that your certificate is verified.

  • Your STCW basic safety training.
  • Your seafarer medical certificate (ENG1 or a recognised equivalent).
  • An up-to-date CV, as a PDF or a photo.

Frequently asked questions

Do crew pay anything?

No, never. Under the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC 2006), a seafarer never pays to find a position.

What if I don’t have all the experience asked for?

Every job shows the captain’s requirements: experience, certificates, languages. You see straight away whether your profile fits.

I don’t speak French. Is that a problem?

No. RopeIn is in English and French, and many Riviera crews work in English.
